Prosilica GT Large Format cameras are engineered to endure the harshest conditions.

Prosilica GT Large Format cameras are engineered to endure the harshest conditions. Every component in the camera was carefully selected to provide a robust vision solution. From the machined aluminum housing to the high-quality sensors and FPGA right down to the zinc-plated case mount screws, our engineers have paid attention to the details.


Precision machined 6061 aluminum housing
Prosilica GT Large Format cameras are constructed using 6061 aircraft grade aluminum. The precision machining allows us to adhere to strict tolerances on all parts. Machined parts ensure heat is effectively removed from the sensor, FPGA, and electronic components to the camera housing.

Premium anodized coating
Anodizing is an electrochemical process and provides a hard, durable, and weather resistant finish. Anodizing outperforms other coatings such as powder coating in terms of heat dissipation.

High-quality sensors and components
Our engineers have carefully selected sensors, FPGAs, and other camera electronics to provide a high-end machine vision camera. All parts undergo rigorous testing to ensure the durability of our cameras endure in various demanding applications.    It is the attention to detail that makes the difference. Even the case mount screws were considered during the design process. We opted for zinc-plated screws due to their enhanced corrosion resistance.

Fan-less design
Heat is a consequence of running cameras at high frame rates with high-resolution sensors. As fans consume more power and may cause additional heat, we have designed the Prosilica GT Large Format cameras to be fan-less. Fans may have other impacts on image quality due to vibration and noise.

Built-in cooling fins
The built-in cooling fins provide additional heat dissipation to move heat from sensor and electronics. We have engineered our cameras to utilize passive cooling to reduce power while providing effective cooling for sensitive camera electronics.

Improved system reliability
Fan-less cameras remove a mechanical point of failure from your system design. Our fan-less design allows for a compact high-quality camera design that can be implemented into a wide range of demanding applications.

Various lens mounts
Prosilica GT Large Format cameras can be ordered with a variety of different lens mount options. No additional adapter is required. Sensors are precisely aligned in the cameras and we offer planarity adjustable mounts for applications requiring a higher degree of sensor alignment.
All lens mounts are designed in-house and are tested for vibration and shock along with camera electronics.

Prosilica GT Large Format cameras conform to IP class 50 with a suitable lens attached.
