New high-resolution HR 100GigE cameras with RDMA and a compact housing

Allied Vision  is extending its 100GigE  product portfolio with the HR 100GigE Series, a new generation of high-resolution, high-speed cameras designed for demanding machine vision applications. The cameras will be showcased to the public at VISION Stuttgart, from October 6 -8, 2026, at Allied Vision’s booth in hall 10 booth 10F30.

Combining Sony Pregius S global-shutter CMOS sensors with 100GigE connectivity and RDMA streaming, the cameras deliver high-resolution images at frame rates of up to 225 fps. The series is engineered to help manufacturers increase inspection throughput while maintaining image detail, accuracy and reliable data transfer.

High resolution meets extreme speed
The HR 100GigE Series addresses the growing demand for faster inspection without sacrificing image quality. Depending on the model, the cameras provide resolutions up to 104.9 megapixels and frame rates up to 225 fps. Reliable RDMA streaming transfers image data directly into application memory, reducing CPU load and latency while supporting consistent throughput for data-intensive vision and AI processing.

An advanced thermal design supports operation from -10°C to +60°C while maintaining full 100GigE data streams. The compact 93 × 62 × 62 mm housing combines high-performance imaging with flexible system integration and a small form factor.

The QSFP28 interface provides high-bandwidth fiber connectivity and supports cable runs of up to 10 km, enabling flexible camera placement and system architectures. Allied Vision also offers a compatible 100GigE network interface card for an integrated camera-to-host solution.

Built for data-intensive vision applications
The HR 100GigE Series is suited to semiconductor and electronics inspection, medical imaging, automotive inspection, metrology, and sports and entertainment applications. In 2D and 3D AOI, high resolution combined with high frame rates can support faster inspection cycles while retaining fine detail. For laser triangulation, the combination of resolution, speed and stable data transfer supports precise 3D measurement. Particle Image Velocimetry benefits from rapid image acquisition for analyzing fast-moving flows, while slow-motion capture applications can exploit high frame rates to record rapid events in detail.

Allied Vision's 100GigE Ecosystem – the power of high bandwidth
100GigE Vision is rapidly becoming the new standard for high-end machine vision driven by higher sensor resolutions, faster frame rates, and multi-camera systems that push beyond 10/25GigE limits. No trade-off between high speed with smaller ROI, lower resolution, or compromises in exposure and high resolution providing high image quality anymore. Allied Vision is responding to developments in the sensor market and the trend toward ever-increasing bandwidth by continuing to expand a wide-ranging ecosystem of image processing technologies. As one of the first image processing experts, Allied Vision has developed a comprehensive, compatible 100 GigE product portfolio: ranging from high-resolution cameras with a 100 GigE interface (FXO 100GigE and HR 100GigE) to accessories such as transceivers and cables, all the way to the corresponding network interface card.
