SWIR Imaging

See beyond the visible! Benefit from our huge variety of SWIR cameras: Goldeye or Alvium SWIR.

Allied Vision has many years of experience in the development of short-wave infrared cameras with InGaAs sensor technology. With this comprehensive expertise, we provide optimized cameras with outstanding image quality in terms of homogeneity, dynamics and linearity for a wide range of applications. The current product portfolio includes models with and without thermoelectric sensor cooling. For scientifically oriented applications, cameras with two-stage thermoelectric sensor cooling (TEC2), nitrogen cooling chamber and fan are also available, which enable particularly low-noise image acquisition with long exposure times.

Innovative SWIR technology in a compact camera design

Alvium SWIR cameras

Alvium SWIR cameras are the smallest industrial-grade short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging devices on the market. They support a spectral range from 400 nm to 1700 nm at high quantum efficiencies. This allows to capture images in both the visible and SWIR spectra with a single camera and enables users to reduce overall system costs.

SWIR cameras based on high-performance InGaAs sensors

Goldeye SWIR cameras

The Goldeye camera series supports multiple InGaAs sensor types enabling to sense in the short wave infrared spectrum up to 2.2µm. Most cameras are equipped with thermo-electric cooler (TEC) to stabilize the sensor temperature, beneficial to achieve reproducebale imaging results under varying condition and to apply longer exposure times. In addition Goldeye cameras can be operated at fast frame rates and capture low-noise images with high linearity and dynamic range.

  • Two housing design options for ruggedized industrial or advanced scientific applications
  • Various InGaAs sensor technologies supported, including visible SWIR and eXtended SWIR
  • Resolutions up to 1.3 megapixels (QVGA, VGA, and SXGA)

  • Easy to use due to Plug & Play application setup
  • GenICam-compatible feature control
  • Comprehensive feature set including various image quality improvement features and multi-ROI support, which is especially valuable in HSI applications for selective wavelength control and to speed up processes

  • GigE Vision or Camera Link interface

  • Extended operating temperature range: –20°C to +55°C (housing)
