Development Engineer (m/f/d) Mechanics

Your tasks
- Design, modeling, and development of innovative industrial cameras
- Creation and testing of requirements for design, functionality, thermal management, mountability, and costs for our cameras
- Conducting development-related investigations and tests as well as thermal simulation and optimization
- Building prototypes within the development department for the validation and optimization of new technologies
- Transferring our products to series production and working closely with production, the QA department, and purchasing (possibly our suppliers)
Your profile
- Degree in precision engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Confident use of SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of cost aspects and economic thinking
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in design and development
- Initial design and manufacturing experience to ensure the feasibility and implementability of the developed solutions
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as independence to collaborate effectively with other departments, develop solutions, and work independently.
