Allied Vision presents Machine Vision Technologies for Seamless Integration

Stadtroda, Germany — September 29, 2026 – Allied Vision will showcase its unified machine vision ecosystem at VISION Stuttgart from October 6 to 8, 2026, in Hall 10, Booth 10F30. The shown product portfolio ranges from line scan, area scan, and smart cameras to lenses and frame grabbers, and from image processing libraries to IP cores – designed to work together from the start across the entire machine vision workflow.

To make the visitor experience the seamless integration Allied Vision has structured the booth into dedicated experience zones featuring cutting-edge demos.

Experience Seamless Integration

In the Semicon and Electronics zone, two demos show a combination of Allied Vision FXO cameras and Coaxlink frame grabbers. For example, an AOI PCB inspection demo highlights the most compact and efficient four-channel CXP-12 camera setup using the high-resolution fxo cameras alongside a Coaxlink Octo CXP-12 framegrabber and eVision software. This setup delivers large data rates in tight spaces. Additionally, a wafer inspection line scan demo compares the allPIXA evo 32k and 16k line scan cameras featuring Corona II Combined tube light.

The Drone Zone showcases the broad sensor portfolio suitable for various drone applications. SAM-DIMENSION’s SAM-CAM AI on board a drone uses Allied Vision’s Alvium CSI-2 cameras to save processing power through pre-processed images via the CSI-2 interface. A battery-powered FPV drone with a SWIR camera featuring quantum dot sensor technology demonstrates the advantages of SWIR sensitivity: seeing through fog.

Allied Vision is also showcasing a custom-designed autonomous surface vessel setup featuring a multi-camera system that delivers a 360° panoramic view. Engineered for critical maritime missions, the solution integrates hardware components (Alvium CSI-2 cameras) with software components (Multi MIPI to GigE Vision 3.0 Converter) from Allied Vision. This configuration allows to realize surround view with a single application.

With the new Alecs VSWIR Allied Vision delivers edge-based VSWIR intelligence in a single industrial device for the first time. In the Smart Cam Experience Zone the camera is used for a code reading application. A packaging inspection demo is showing two different software approaches enabling AI with a smart camera: Alecs integrates image acquisition, edge processing, and open vision software in one smart camera. Gocator 2D combines 2D sensing with integrated GoPxL vision tools for AI-based inspection.

Product Highlights

At VISION 2026 Allied Vision is launching a new camera platform. Engineered for reliability and precision in a sugarcube format housing with advanced heat cooling, the cameras provide exceptional image quality, delivering increased resolution at higher frame rates. The first GigE Vision models ensure seamless integration and rapid design-in within Allied Vision’s comprehensive GigE ecosystem, including compatible lenses and NICs (Network Interface Cards). And this is just the first step of a new era -there is more to come.

100GigE Vision is rapidly becoming the new standard for high-end machine vision driven by higher sensor resolutions, faster frame rates, and multi-camera systems. As one of the first image processing experts, Allied Vision has developed a comprehensive, compatible 100 GigE product portfolio: ranging from high-resolution cameras with a 100 GigE interface (FXO 100GigE and HR 100GigE) to accessories such as transceivers and cables, all the way to the corresponding network interface card - on display at the booth in an high-resolution wafer inspection demo.
