Manta

Manta firmware V00.01.44.09

18.01.2013 - Reason for the firmware update:

  • Fixed StreamBytesPerSecond calculation issues for all Manta cameras (GEV-59)
  • Fixed LUTControl parameters (e.g., LUTEnable, LUTMode) not saved in ConfigFile for all Manta cameras (GEV-263)
  • Fixed: changed Gain or Offset could lower maximum gray level, only Manta G-032(GEV-283)


The new firmware is part of the Manta Firmware loader, version 00.01.44.09. This loader support the following Manta models:
G-031B/C, G-032B/C, G-033B/C, G-046B/C, G-095C, G-125B/C, G-145B/C, G-145B/C-30, G-145B NIR, G-146B/C, G-201B/C, G-201B/C-30, G-504B/C

Marlin

Marlin firmware V2010-Nov-15

05.11.2010 - Reason for firmware update:
All cameras with serial numbers, beginning with 6xxxxxxxx have a revised hardware together with new firmware versions. These cameras do have the newest Firmware.
For older cameras we have a Package with the newest firmware revisions.
Any mixing of hardware and firmware other than listed in the firmware release note, may result in a non-functional or even defective camera which is explicitly excluded from the guarantee.

 

Marlin F-131B firmware V00.03.00.00

15.11.2010 - Reason for Firmware Update:
- Micro Controller AT91 Rev S is dicontinued.

- Micro Controller AT91 Rev SB needs to be implemented.

This revision requires a revised boot loader.

Pike firmware V00.03.03.02

23.02.2012 - Reason for firmware update:
#748 – Corrected: Soft Reset feature didn’t reset the camera due to wrong internal handling of the feature
#928 / #1030 - Corrected: Write settings from xml-file into the camera sometimes failed and initialization sometimes failed (also in some third party applications as e.g. CMU 1394 driver).

#FIREWIRE-62: One push operation was interrupted after the first automatically taken image, if the newly computed shutter value
- was below the lower value of auto shutter range or
- was above the upper value of auto shutter range
Ensured one push shutter/gain start within ranges.

 

Stingray firmware update V03.01.00

13.02.2012 - Reason for the firmware update:
#677: Stingray Defect Pixel Correction didn’t detect defects
#768: Sequence mode didn't work after after Multishot Mode was used
#824: Quick Format Change Mode didn’t work reliable
#835: No acknowledge error when opening camera, after closing it with Auto Gain or Auto Shutter enabled
#846: Stingray disappeared from bus when opening, after closing it with Auto Shutter enabled
#1032: Using YUV422 and RGB for color interpolation showed one invalid column
#1036: Combination of One-Push /Auto Shutter and White balance may not work parallel and inhibit each other
