Your tasks

  • You are the first technical contact for the customer and thus the interface to the development teams.
  • You provide technical advice on the camera families, the range of accessories and, in particular, the software packages (SDKs).
  • You will provide key support to customers in integrating cameras and optimizing their applications, including on-site if necessary.
  • You will handle a wide variety of support requests from our customers, sales representatives as well as distributors; by phone or in writing in the pre- and post-sales phase.
  • Your focus is on image processing software, camera technology, electrical engineering and optics.
  • You create programming examples and error analyses.
  • You will work intensively with sales, product development and product management when recording customer requirements and feature requests.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable training.
  • You bring experience from automation technology, technical support, as an IT administrator or software developer.
  • You have programming experience in C and C++ as well as C#.NET on Windows and Linux.
  • You have knowledge in embedded software development e.g. with v4L2, gStreamer, lib Argus.
  • You are familiar with the basics of image processing and the use of measuring equipment.
  • You have an analytical and goal-oriented way of working.
  • You communicate confidently with people of different nationalities and cultures, helped by your confident German and English skills.
  • You bring a willingness to travel with you.
  • You are willing to continuously educate yourself.
